What can chiropractic do for me?

Chiropractic is a method designed to rebalance the musculoskeletal system and body structure for restoration of the body's natural alignment. In some cases, this could relieve pinched nerves, allowing them to normally function - potentially restoring what seemed like an unrelated ailment.

How educated are chiropractors?

Every chiropractor is required to complete a standard pre-med undergraduate degree including an additional 4-5 years of graduate school covering physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, and other critical topics. Chances are your local chiropractor has had just as much education as your local doctor.

Can I trust a chiropractor with my body?

Do you trust your doctor with your body? In many cases, chiropractic patients begin treatment based on recommendations made by their family doctor. It's not unusual for chiropractors, doctors, surgeons, and other specialists to refer patients to each other. After all, their goal is to make you healthy through the best means possible.

How often do I need to see the chiropractor?

Chiropractic is about restoring musculoskeletal balance. Just like physical therapy, this imbalance may require multiple treatments. Stress, poor posture, and physical exertion may later push a body back out of balance. You should consider returning regularly for maintenance visits to keep your body in tip-top shape. Many patients who develop the habit of returning on a regular basis, tell us that they feel healthier, sleep better, and in general have fewer colds or other physical complaints.
